I am Marijke Ludwig, an illustrative designer from Heerlen, The Netherlands. I have been making the world a bit more beautiful with my illustration art since 2018. And I’m still doing that with great pleasure.

When it comes to illustrating, I’m happiest when I can let myself go with fineliners on a blank sheet of paper. That’s where my creative ideas take shape. I make surreal combinations of objects, buildings, people, animals and nature. And I love to create the most surprising images with it.

I also combine my art with graphic design. The illustrations then come to life in a corporate identity, poster, packaging design or something else.
